Schwarzach scouts celebrate 50. Birthday

Schwarzach scouts celebrate 50. Birthday

Several tribes from all over lower franconia met with the schwarzachers on the mainspitze near gerlachshausen. Pure fellowship experienced by a lot of "old hares and countless "young hoppers under the open sky. In the middle of it all, the former chairman of the tribe norbert lucas and wolfling leonie pohl (8).

Norbert lucas has been a member of the schwarzach scouts for 43 years, and he still puts his heart and soul into his work. "Everything has become a bit freer and girls have joined", he describes a change. The strict education of the past days has been replaced by an open attitude. "In the past everything was more regulated and today everything is more free and therefore more colorful", he says.

Lucas is convinced that scouting is good for everyone. "The young people can develop there very well." No wonder that his two sons are also members of the jubel tribe.
Phil (19) and theo (20) have been with the group from an early age. "The rough one protects the small one", norbert lucas draws a bow from the scout troop, which is valid all over the world, to his family. This pit, in which the thumb rests on the little finger, has a very special meaning for the father of two because theo is disabled. "He was accepted by the scouts from the beginning and is part of the group", lucas is pleased about the great community in which everyone supports each other. "I can even send theo alone with the other scouts on trips abroad", he reports. Lucas relies on the help and care of his fellow tribesmen.

Bundestag establishes controversial main committee for the first time

Bundestag establishes controversial main committee for the first time

The 47-member committee, the first of its kind in parliamentary history, is to replace all the specialized committees that are normally responsible for the detailed discussion of bills and motions until the government is formed. The left and the greens sharply criticized the supercommittee in the bundestag debate and voted against it.

The committees are of crucial importance for the work of the bundestag. Traditionally, for example, the strongest opposition faction chairs the important budget committee, which is the final authority that has to approve all spending decisions. The committees are filled according to faction strength. CDU/CSU and SPD reject appointment before formation of government as too time-consuming, because neither the departmental portfolios nor the personnel of the new government are known. As a rule, members of the government do not belong to any committees.

The main committee, which was to be constituted on thursday afternoon, consists of 23 members of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group, 14 members of the SPD parliamentary group and 5 members each from the left and the greens. The committee is chaired by norbert lammert (CDU), the president of the bundestag, and one of the six vice-presidents of the bundestag is the deputy chairman.

Afd gets new competition from right-wing pigeons with poggenburg

Afd gets new competition from right-wing pigeons with poggenburg

In the three state elections in the east this year, the afd will have to reckon with a new competitor from within its own ranks: andre poggenburg, the former faction and party leader of the right-wing populists in saxony-anhalt.

He enters the elections in three eastern german states with his new grouping "aufbruch deutscher patrioten" (adp). The split also overshadowed the afd’s european election meeting in riesa, saxony, where the afd delegates had until monday to draw up a program for the european elections on 26 may. May want to decide and complete their list of candidates.

Poggenburg considers his adp’s entry into the state parliaments of saxony, thuringia and brandenburg to be realistic. The 43-year-old told the german press agency on friday that he and his colleagues were aware that any new formation or split-off would entail major risks. "But we assume that we will achieve the five percent hurdle in the east"."

Dtm: green wins with mercedes at the norisring

Dtm: green wins with mercedes at the norisring

The street circuit of nurnberg is finally green’s home track in the german touring car masters (DTM) racing calendar: from 2008 to 2010, the briton won three times in a row, in 2011 he finished second.

"Luck was on my side today," said an overjoyed green. "My car just worked so well."It was like something out of the script of a movie, simply unbelievable," said mercedes motorsport boss norbert haug. "It’s a shame when you lose the race in the last round. That’s the worst thing that can happen," complained tomczyk.

With his fourth triumph, green prevented a double victory by ruckkehrer BMW. Because tomczyk from rosenheim and canadian bruno spengler were still leading until shortly before the end – then green overtook them with a furious final spurt in the 78th minute. Round. There had previously been numerous collisions on the rain-soaked track. Overall leader garry paffett (great britain) in the mercedes fell back to 19th place after the start, but still finished the race in fourth place.
